What is your role at GCC?

| GCC Fellow | Participate in the programs offered at GCC (ex. international conflict mediation) and complete a capstone project to demonstrate the ability to compromise personally and in representation of others interpersonally, domestically, and internationally. |
| Curriculum Team Member | Be a part of the creation of a robust curriculum (lesson plans, activities, etc.) for the middle school level (ages 11-14). |
| Marketing Team Member | Create content for any one of our social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, or Twitter), advertise team efforts, and be a part of any graphic design endeavors. |
| Outreach Team Member | Aid the initiation and maintenance of partnerships with other youth organizations, schools, libraries, speakers, donors, and more! Be a part of the outer face of the organization. |

Frequently Asked Questions:
What is the expected time commitment of a general member? What about a director or executive?
- The expected time commitment of a general member is approximately five (5) hours a week including meetings and weekly tasks. Members must attend at minimum two (2) meetings a month, including a department meeting and an organization-wide monthly meeting. Other meetings may be scheduled as needed. GCC leadership will consider members’ availabilities when scheduling meetings.
- The expected time commitment for a director is approximately ten (10) hours a week including meetings and weekly tasks. Directors must host a department meeting at least once a month, attend two organization-wide monthly meetings, and attend a weekly directors’ meeting. Other meetings may be scheduled as needed. GCC leadership will consider members’ availabilities when scheduling meetings.
- The expected time commitment for an executive is approximately twenty (20) hours a week, including meetings and weekly tasks. Executives host the weekly directors’ meeting, attend weekly executive strategy meetings, and host both organization-wide monthly meetings. Executives are also on call for other meetings relating to the strategic objectives of the organization.
I want to submit a marketing portfolio/résumé but the Google Form is not allowing me to upload it. What do I do?

When should I expect to hear back from GCC once I have submitted an application?
- After submitting an application, please expect to hear back with your result within one-two weeks. During application seasons and other busy times (ie. the holidays, exam times, etc.), responses may be moderately delayed.
